The course will take you through the key stages giving you invaluable guidance on planning and running successful fundraising events which will not onlyprovide results on the day / night but will also help fulfil other objectives within your fundraising and organisational strategies.The course will assist participants to help ensure that future events runsmoothly as well as giving pointers to help develop understanding of what is needed to design and deliver events that raise essential funds cost effectively.
About Your Trainer:
Gill Jolly BSc (Hons) FInstF(Dip) has a background in Psychology and over 30 years’ experience in the charity sector working as a fundraiser, manager, director and trainer of fundraisers and support teams with a wide variety of sizes and types of organisation. She runs her own consultancy and works with charities and not-for-profit organisations across the UK and Europe providing a wide range of bespoke fundraising, training and management consultancy services including interim management roles. In addition, she speaks at international, national and regional conferences and also writes widely having recently completed part of a book on fundraising. Gill, who is from Lancashire, has worked with the IoF since 2000 developing training courses, delivering fundraising’s professional qualifications and leading courses on a wide range of fundraising topics.
