This course will help you manage and develop your fundraising team. It must be recognised that you’ll income will be affected if your fundraisers move within two years of recruitment, regardless of performance… Establishing and developing a successful and effective team doesn’t just happen!

Successful team management can provide a multitude of benefits to an organisation. A high performing team increases morale, improves productivity and efficiency and provides better overall organisational performance.

This course will cover some theory, as well as giving tips & practical help to getting the most from your team of staff (and to some extent volunteers).

About Your Trainer:

Gill Jolly BSc (Hons) FInstF(Dip) has a background in Psychology and over 30 years’ experience in the charity sector working as a fundraiser, manager, director and trainer of fundraisers and support teams with a wide variety of sizes and types of organisation. She runs her own consultancy and works with charities and not-for-profit organisations across the UK and Europe providing a wide range of bespoke fundraising, training and management consultancy services including interim management roles. In addition, she speaks at international, national and regional conferences and also writes widely having recently completed part of a book on fundraising. Gill, who is from Lancashire, has worked with the IoF since 2000 developing training courses, delivering fundraising’s professional qualifications and leading courses on a wide range of fundraising topics.
