Sainsbury Fundraising Portal

Sainsbury’s Business Direct has been helping PTA’s and associations raise million of pounds through their members for over 14 years. Fundraising with Sainsbury’s Everyday Shopping Cards is very popular because you can use them in over 1100 stores across the country on 1000s of different products including Food, Electricals, Audio and Furniture.

To make life even easier for our fundraising partners we have developed our own Everyday Fundraising portal, which gives you access to your very own members fundraising website. The great thing is that it doesn’t cost you or your members anything at all. All they have to do is to shop at Sainsbury’s using one of our Everyday Shopping Cards provided by us. We will then provide 4% rebate to you on every £1 spent through your portal.

Celebrating success: CIF Class of 2013 graduate!

CIF Class of 2013

Graduates of the Institute of Fundraising (IoF) Academy Certificate in Fundraising celebrated their success last week at the annual IoF North West Conference. Three local students from the class of 2012 were congratulated at a special presentation event, by IoF Chair Mark Astarita and course tutor Gill Jolly.

The graduates were part of the second sell out Certificate course which took place in Manchester this year, leading the IoF to plan a third course in the North West starting next April.

Glenys Garth-Thornton, Head of Professional Development at IoF said,

“We are proud to see more and more fundraisers successfully graduating from our qualifications courses, with numbers of students increasing as we roll out further opportunities to enrol across the UK. The North West course has received great acclaim from students and tutors and we are looking forward welcoming the new class in April 2014.”

Since the IoF Academy was launched, over 400 dedicated professionals have successfully completed qualifications in fundraising and/or direct marketing, with a range of new opportunities launching in the coming months including the Masters level Advanced Diploma in Fundraising and a Major Donor residential programme.

Find out more about the IoF Academy and all courses on offer.

The first Certificate in Fundraising course in Manchester took place over four days last autumn, and we are now delighted to be able to share the success of our students with you. Completing this qualification takes time and requires sustained motivation – but ultimately achieving an IoF qualification demonstrates you’re committed to being the best fundraiser you can be!

We’re proud to be able to share the names and organisations of some of those successful colleagues with you today. Well done on behalf of the NW Committee!”
