I’m the Legacy Partnership Manager for Cancer Research UK, focussing on enhancing and developing legal professional relationships across the UK for CRUK and managing the Free Will Service.
I’ve been in legacies for three and a half years with CRUK, starting as a Regional Legacy Manager. Prior to this, I was the Senior Community Fundraiser for British Red Cross for eight years, working across Merseyside and the North West organising fundraising events and managing volunteers. I have also worked for three years at RNIB as a Telephone Fundraising Manager so I’ve got a few years of third sector varied knowledge and experience!
I chair Legacy Liverpool, a group set up in 2014 to enhance legacy giving across Liverpool, collaborating with local charities to encourage gifts in Wills.
Proud moments – I was awarded a commendation from the High Sheriff of Merseyside for my fundraising for the Red Cross; visiting Buckingham Palace to attend two Royal Garden Parties; selected to represent the Red Cross at the annual Cenotaph Parade in Whitehall.
I’m a mum of two (growing up too fast) teenagers and a fanatical Liverpool fan!
